Callum Hudson-Odoi Biography
Callum James Hudson-Odoi is an English footballer who plays as a winger or a forward for England U19 and Premier League club Chelsea. His father Bismark Odoi used to play for Hearts of Oak and Ghana. He was part of the team that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017. Hudson-Odoi is eligible to play for either of Ghana and England on the international scene.

Callum Hudson-Odoi Club Career
Hudson-Odoi came through the ranks of Chelsea youth system having joined the club at the age of seven in 2007. His Under-18 debut came in August 2016 and he scored eight goals as the teams won the FA Youth Cup. Due to his performance and technicality, Hudson-Odoi was promoted the Under-23 side at the age of sixteen. He scored four times in three games in their EFL cup campaign, including the brace against Plymouth Argyle
Hudson-Odoi first appeared in Chelsea’s matchday squad during their EFL Cup Match against AFC Bournemouth on 20 December 2017. He made his first-team debut on 28 January 2018 in the FA Cup match against Newcastle United. It was Pedro who came off for him in the 81st minutes, the game ended 3-0 in Chelsea’s favour.
Hudson-Odoi was given the number 20 jersey following Sarri’s decision to include him in the first-team for the 2018-19 season. He made his first start during the FA Community Shield defeat to Manchester City on August 5 2018. He scored his first senior team goal against PAOK (his first European game start) on 29 November.

Hudson-Odoi is an England youth international, who currently represents the Under-18 team although he is eligible for both Ghana and England. Hudson-Odoi has played for England at every age group from Under-16 to Under-19 level.
Hudson-Odoi was part of the team that won silver medal at the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He scored in the semi-final match against Turkey and also scored in the final against Spain, who won the trophy on a penalty Shoot-out. His incredible performance saw him included in the team of the tournament. Hudson-Odoi also helped England win the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup; he scored one goal in the competition and played the full 90 minutes of the 5-2 final defeat of Spain.
