According to report from Italy, Juventus are in regular contact with super-agent, Mino Raiola, as they look to battle Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt away from Barcelona and Manchester United.
The 19-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in Europe and his talent has attracted attention from host of clubs. He is on the watch of many Europe’s top teams. Italian outlet, Tuttosport reveals that De Ligt is the Bianconeri’s top defensive target.
According to reports, De Ligt has been on tour of the Allianz Stadium when the Netherlands visited in the summer. According to Tuttosport, Vice-President Pavel Nedved and sporting director Fabio Paratici are in regular contact with agent Mino Raiola.
Relations between the two parties are good, Raiola served as Nedved’s representative during his playing days. However, Tuttosport believes Barcelona will provide stiff competition for De Ligt, with those two clubs ahead of Barcelona for the Ajax starlet.
The race for the youngster’s signature will be a tough one. Other teams such as Liverpool and Manchester City are also on the lookout for him.
